What’s New¶
When a member entered his/her partner’s phone number, it was displayed in the “Phone/Email” section, at the very beginning of the profile. Although the number in question was clearly marked as the partner’s, we were rightly told that this choice was confusing. We have therefore logically moved this telephone number to the “Partner” section.
Other Changes¶
In addition, a few bugs have been squashed and minor enhancements integrated:
when trying to update your profile, the app would show that an error occurred and the changes were not saved either; this has been fixed;
the application would crash under some circumstances when working with SkillBase; since the underlying problem lies in the MAUI framework itself, we have implemented a workaround to prevent the crash and thus now open the SkillBase module outside of the mobile application;
the English naming for a “Member-at-large” was called “Passive member”, for historical reasons based on the naming in French and German; we have now changed the English naming to “Member-at-large” to be consistent with the LCI;
detection of the new iPhone 16e, as announced by Apple on February 19th;
various internal libraries have been upgraded.
Footnotes
- 1
App Store Connect from Apple Inc. explains that compatible iOS apps are automatically published on the App Store on Apple Vision Pro unless we explicitly opt out. We have not opted out and therefore the LionsBase mobile application is available on Apple Vision Pro, although we did not have the opportunity so far to test it. Do not hesitate to drop us a message if you have tested it; we would be happy to hear from you!
