What’s New¶
Members from Switzerland/Liechtenstein now have a link to their national Lions shop in the drawer menu:

[Edit 14.04.2025] The link opens the shop in a built-in web browser where the member is automatically logged in. Due to the way the shop is built, the member is likely to land on the last page they visited, or on their profile page.
Other Changes¶
In addition, a few bugs have been squashed and minor enhancements integrated:
the list of subscribed sources of news and the list of available sources of news would not scroll properly; this has been fixed;
the number of years being a Lion for a given member was wrong if the member resigned for a while before starting again; this is now properly calculated;
although we configured the search field (members, clubs, social activities) to take exactly what the user typed, and not to try to auto-correct, the search field would sometimes (well… often) auto-correct; this is actually a bug in the MAUI framework itself but we found a workaround;
the app would only start searching after the user had typed at least 4 characters; this has been changed to 3 letters so that shorter names can be found more easily. If you need to search for a 2-letter name, you can still by typing the 2 letters and start of the given/family name;
the new iPad Air M3 and iPad A16 are now detected;
various internal libraries have been upgraded.
Footnotes
- 1
App Store Connect from Apple Inc. explains that compatible iOS apps are automatically published on the App Store on Apple Vision Pro unless we explicitly opt out. We have not opted out and therefore the LionsBase mobile application is available on Apple Vision Pro, although we did not have the opportunity so far to test it. Do not hesitate to drop us a message if you have tested it; we would be happy to hear from you!
Here is a screenshot of the simulator of the Apple Vision Pro running the LionsBase mobile application:
